Earlier this year the Guardian reported that cold homes are a bigger killer across the UK than road accidents, drug abuse or alcohol abuse. The story also highlighted that cold-related illness and hospital admissions will cost our NHS more than £22bn over the next 15 years. As a landlord with a real social purpose, we at Moat take these sorts of figures seriously and do what we can to drive them down wherever possible.

The National Housing Federation and HouseMark today publish a report on housing association efficiency between 2008/09 and 2014/15.  The report makes use of HouseMark data covering the activities and operations of over 250 English housing associations, to explore how the sector has performed across a large range of measures over time.
