Mayor’s London Housing Strategy in the spotlight

The Mayor has published his draft London Housing Strategy for public consultation and his commitment to halve severe overcrowding in social housing by 2016 is welcome. However, there are worrying ideas for tenure reform and the possibility of transferring housing associations' stock to local authority ownership.
