About the East Midlands region

In the East Midlands alone there are almost 121,000 households on housing waiting lists and homes in more rural parts of the region cost nearly nine times local incomes.
The National Housing Federation supports the membership base at all levels, and works through an elected executive committee. Our activities include:

• Partnerships with key agencies, including government offices, development agencies and the Tenant Services Authority
• Encouraging best practice and networking through interest groups, regional events and training
• Developing work with stock transfer, the race agenda, regeneration and raising the profile of our members.
