Green Deal and ECO Workshops

DECC are organising two workshops on the Green Deal and ECO so that housing associations can explore different partnership models and how Green Deal finance interacts with ECO.

DECC recognise that social landlords are well-placed to play a central role in delivering Green Deal and ECO energy efficiency work. However, becoming a Green Deal Provider (GDP) may not be the preferred route for the majority of landlords. Many wish to collaborate with GDPs to deliver improvements to multiple properties, for example looking for a partner who will manage the Green Deal for them. Others may wish to manage the assessment and/or installation process themselves and only require a
Provider to arrange finance.

These workshops are being held on 1 and 6 February and will bring together interested Social Landlords and Providers, to offer advice and support in navigating the Green Deal landscape, and facilitate discussions on partnership options.
