As part of our work to support our members to manage welfare reform for their businesses and tenants, we are working with the Department for Work and Pensions and others to look at opportunities for the use and development of transactional products to support social housing tenants in receiving and managing their money and payments.
We commissioned financial inclusion experts Toynbee Hall to provide a briefing paper for members on the role of transactional accounts in mitigating the potential negative impact of welfare reform on members and their tenants.
