Get on Board: post your board member vacancies

Find out about our Get on Board scheme which aims to match applicants to board member vacancies within the housing sector.

Get on Board – what does it involve?

Get on Board is a scheme that aims to match skilled and experienced applicants to board member vacancies within the housing sector, using the wide reach and impact of Guardian Jobs.

With responsibility for two and a half million homes for over five million people, housing associations need skilled board members to help provide dynamic governance for their organisations. The time commitment can be variable but will usually be the equivalent of one day a month, mainly to attend meetings. Very few housing associations pay board members, apart from their out-of-pocket expenses, such as travelling and childcare costs.

Exclusive discounted packages available to Federation members

The Get on Board service offers members access to a new facility, Audience Match. Using state-of-the-art audience analysis software, Audience Match enables employers to both extend and focus their advertising to reach active and receptive jobseekers across all Guardian platforms. It offers the ability to target housing professionals and senior executives from the public/private sector with transferable skills, and the ability to target people by location to reach only the most relevant jobseekers from your local community.
