The publications can be used by members to engage with their Local Enterprise Partnership, to help ensure they have a good understanding of the important role housing associations play in their area.

City Deals and Core Cities
There are no Core Cities in the Black Country LEP area. The Black Country was successful in its bid for a City Deal in February 2013.
Local Growth Deals
Local Growth Deals provide funds to LEPs and the first of these funds was announced on 7 July 2014.
The Black Country LEP has secured £138.7m from government’s Local Growth Fund to support economic growth in the area – with £25.8m of new funding confirmed for 2015/16 and £77.6m for 2016/17 to 2021.
By 2021, this Deal will create at least 4,000 jobs and allow at least 1,000 homes to be built.
