We’ve created a new Welfare Reform National Group.
Each of the Federation’s national groups have specific purposes to promote discussion around new thinking and best practice in each business stream. The Federation seeks to mitigate the impact of changes in the welfare system on tenants and housing associations and the group will also support and advise the Federation on its lobbying and influencing work.

The group is not a governance mechanism, so the onus will be on debate and engagement rather than lengthy papers and minutes. You will need to be able to attend a minimum of three of the four core meetings a year. What we will promise you in return is a dynamic space in which to contribute to Federation policy-making, with high quality facilitation and support from our staff.
