Board members dinners

The Government has published its long-awaited green paper on social housing, with a strong focus on improving customer service and driving competition in the sector’s performance as social landlords.

There’s considerable potential for change in the sector but we can say for sure that political interest in housing associations will continue.

During a time of potential change, savvy board members will be assuring themselves that their organisation is truly ready to demonstrate excellent work. Understanding how the regulatory agenda could shift to reflect the Government’s new direction, while continuing your focus on responding to the housing crisis in your area, will be essential knowledge in the coming months.

To help you prepare, join the National Housing Federation for a private dinner with Simon Dow, Interim Chair of the Regulator of Social Housing’s regulation committee. Attendees will hear directly from Simon on the regulator’s perspective of expectations and approaches to risk. You’ll also have the opportunity to discuss key governance issues in an informal environment, under Chatham House rules.

This event is open to all board members of housing associations and charged at £80 (+ vat) per person. There is a special price of £75 (+ vat) if you book four or more places.

Spaces are limited and places are allocated on a first come first served basis.

This is part of a series of three dinners taking place across the country:
