This North West Chief Executive forum is an event for housing association leaders to hear the latest from the National Housing Federation and to help to shape our future thinking. We will also have stakeholders and external partners as speakers.
According to calculations by the National Housing Federation (NHF), nearly a third more children (193,000) are now living in meagre circumstances because of spiraling rents and mortgage costs, compared with 2010 (read more in the BBC article here).
The July forum will be looking at the links between poverty and lack of social housing as well as the potential impact increases to social housing rents of CPI plus 1% from 2020.
We will be inviting a panel of think tanks, academics and others to discuss. The full agenda will be confirmed shortly.
After this event, the next forum is being held on the 7 October with Fiona MacGregor, Regulator of Social Housing's (RSH) Chief Executive. You can book your place here.
This event is open to National Housing Federation Members only.
