There are several ways for NHF members to help shape our work on decarbonisation.
This group will be instrumental in shaping how the sector responds to one of the most significant issues housing associations will face over the next three decades - the challenges and opportunities of decarbonising our homes. Your sector experience and strategic insight will shape government and sector policies for years to come.
This group will help guide our work around sustainability, exploring how we can best shape our support to members. It will support us in developing and testing new policy, informing our responses to the government, showcase the work of housing associations and create opportunities for joint-working across the sector.
This group will shape our overarching strategy, challenge us, influence the government, and guide the work of the NHF and the sector – therefore we’re looking specifically for chief executives from across our membership.
We expect the first meeting of the group to take place in May 2021 and thereafter the group will meet every two months. Between meetings, there may be some email correspondence and occasional ad-hoc meetings (for example political roundtables).
We want to maximise the geographical spread and type of organisations represented on the group, so we are encouraging applications from the full range of our membership.
To support and encourage member diversity we will be considering the following factors when assessing applications:
Please see our terms of reference for this piece of work.
Please complete the online application form no later than Wednesday 21 April.
A panel will consider applications. There will be no interview process.
For an informal chat about the group and its work, please get in touch.
This new network is a space for the sector to share practice, insights and policy updates and hear from guest speakers on the issues that matter most to you and is free and open for all NHF members to join.
As the sector responds to the challenges of decarbonisation and building safety, it is more important than ever that we are working together and sharing innovation. The Network will focus on these two priority areas and key national developments, but will also give the space that we know you value for peer to peer learning and discussion on all issues relating to asset management.
The first meeting of the Network will take place virtually on Wednesday 28 April 15:00-17:00.
Please email our Admin team to join and we will follow-up with full meeting details.
