Homes for Britain is a united voice for housing. It brings together housebuilders, architects, private landlords, housing associations, homelessness campaigners and every other part of the sector to put housing where it belongs – top of the political agenda.
The initiative has gone from strength to strength since it was launched last year. Nearly 60 events run by more than 40 housing organisations from every part of the market will be taking under the brand this conference season.
For further information on Homes for Britain including a list of all our events please visit the Homes for Britain website.
We want all housing associations to be involved in Homes for Britain. Here are three things you can do to put housing top of the political agenda this conference season:
- Generate the housing debate we need by following @HomesforBritain on Twitter, getting your followers to do the same and joining the debate this conference season by using the hashtag #homesforbritain.
- Show your support by putting the Homes for Britain logo on the front page of your website, with a link to the www.homesforbritain.org.uk.
- Get the message our there by putting the Homes for Britain animation on your website.
If you're at party conference, come along to one of the Homes for Britain receptions at Labour Party conference and Conservative Party conference. These will be the headline housing events of the conference season and will include speeches from the Housing Minister, Shadow Housing Minister, CBI Director General and LGA Chair.
All housing associations are welcome but all attendees will require a conference pass.
