Starts at Home day, an opportunity to celebrate the difference supported housing makes, will be on Friday 1 September.
17 July 2017
In the week before MPs return to Parliament, on Friday 1 September 2017, we will be running our second Starts at Home day.
We launched the Starts at Home campaign last year with an aim to ensure that people who need extra support will always have a home that meets their needs. Supported housing provides a safe and secure home that helps people to live independently and to achieve their aspirations.
In the run up to Starts at Home day, we’ll be asking members to get involved by providing case studies and reaching out to local MPs to arrange visits. Then on 1 September, we’ll be celebrating the difference supported housing makes by highlighting your stories on social media.
We’ll provide a range of resources to make taking part as easy as possible including infographics, social media postermaker and Starts at Home slogan boards for your visits.
In the meantime, if you have any questions please get in touch with Ella Cheney, Campaigns Officer.
