The Yorkshire and Humberside region

  • creates the conditions for our members to flourish by representing our member's interests to local and regional government
  • ensures housing associations have a strong and positive reputation by promoting the work of our members and campaigning for investment in affordable housing
  • leads the housing and neighbourhoods' policy agenda by taking a lead role in debates, consultations, discussions and steering groups on issues relevant to housing. We also carry out research and policy work
  • provides excellent, highly valued organisational and business support for all our members through our practitioner groups, consultation meetings, a range of conferences and events, publications and various training sessions.

Our members

Housing associations are independent, not-for-profit organisations which provide quality affordable homes. They offer a range of housing and services to meet the diverse needs of the region and play a major role in local initiatives, regenerating communities and transforming the region into a better place to live and work.

National Housing Federation members are housing associations including Local Housing Companies, Housing Cooperatives, Trusts and Large Scale Voluntary Stock Transfers from local authorities.
