New board member induction webinar – October 2022

21 October 2022

Housing has become one of the most important political issues in recent years, with high expectations from the government, the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH) and the general public. The social purpose of housing associations is to provide good quality homes and build great communities with support from board members to guide them towards their goals.

Board members play a pivotal role in ensuring that housing associations are well run, effective and deliver on their mission. Making sure that board members are supported to do this is important for the sector's reputation and for ensuring we can continue to provide high-quality homes, enable communities to thrive and build strong relationships with residents.

This webinar provides an overview of the important role of board members in social housing. It also explores the NHF’s offer to support housing association board members to deliver for their organisations and promote excellence in the sector.
