Smaller housing associations and the road to zero carbon (webinar)

20 June 2022

The scale of the decarbonisation challenge facing the social housing sector is huge. Smaller housing associations have an important role to play in meeting this challenge, but often with added pressures around limited capacity and resources, which is why the NHF has published a new briefing on decarbonisation for smaller housing associations.

This webinar explores some of the issues raised in the briefing including the support and funding that is available to help smaller housing associations on the road to net zero.

In particular, it focused on the second wave of the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund, which allows social housing providers to bid for funding to improve the energy performance of socially rented homes in England.

The webinar, featuring speakers from BEIS and Turner and Townsend helps equip smaller housing associations with the knowledge and process required to confidently bid into wave 2 of the fund once it opens later in the year.
