Last Friday, we hosted an engagement session with around a dozen tenants in Liverpool as part of the ‘Together with Tenants’ consultation. For two hours we listened, answered questions, and received lots of healthy challenge on all aspects of the plan and the detail of the charter commitments.

Social housing providers perform well in the Stonewall Workplace Equality Index (seven made the top 100 in 2017) and research demonstrates that housing associations are moving towards greater LGBT+ inclusivity. But there is still a lot more that we can learn about the needs and aspirations of our LGBT+ residents.
