AceOn is a pioneering energy storage and battery company which is passionate about helping housing associations and the country meet Net Zero Carbon ambitions and targets.
We are a Telford-based company who work across the UK. AceOn Energy’s Managing Director is Richard Partington who, between 2011 and 2019, was Managing Director and Head of Paid Service for Telford and Wrekin Council.
We have developed a ground-breaking virtual power plant which can be fitted to new or existing homes to drive down carbon emissions, reduce tenants’ electricity bills, cut fuel poverty and provide housing associations with a new revenue stream.
With more than 30 years’ experience in the battery and energy storage industry – and a reputation for innovation and quality – we are reliable and positive partners who understand the challenges and pressures of both the private and public sectors. Partners to date include the Wrekin Housing Group, Accord Housing Association, the Ministry of Defence and BT.
Our Renewergy Virtual Power Plant uses a state-of-the-art energy storage system, plus our smart energy management platform, to store renewable energy from solar panels for use when needed and also to trade with the Grid.
Renewergy aims to provide a 3-way benefit:
The more homes that we can include in our VPP, the better the financial return for housing associations.
AceOn can also provide a one-stop shop for a wider range of renewable energy solutions such as:
Energy storage systems and large-scale ‘industrial’ battery storage for offices and depots.
We are thrilled to be a Sector Supplier with the NHF and very much look forward to working with you and sharing our technological and industry expertise.
Our Renewergy VPP not only makes for a greener UK and more energy efficient, climate-friendly homes, it also helps you meet your climate change targets and delivers new revenue.
