This group is open to all housing association chief executives in the region, and acts as a place where chief executives can share information, challenges and expertise on the issues that matter to them. This group is chaired by Paul Dolan (Accent Group) and meets every quarter.
The Yorkshire and Humberside Care and Support Group provides information and shares good practice amongst associations and other providers. It links to the Federation’s Supporting People’s Providers Forum, enabling the group to benefit from the Federation’s national work and providing a mechanism for consultation.
The meetings include opportunities to hear from speakers on national and local topics, opportunities for consultation, and for sharing intelligence and good practice.

The Yorkshire and Humberside communications network meets approximately once every three months. The network provides an opportunity for those with responsibility for PR and communications to come together share good practice and ideas and learn from one another.

This is a joint initiative between the Federation and Homes and Communities Agency. The group meets quarterly and has a focus on issues including retrofitting, construction methods, procurement efficiency, sustainability, new technologies and meeting development standards.
The group meets around three times a year to discuss finance policy and its impact on housing associations operating in Yorkshire and Humberside. The group receives regular updates from the Federations finance staff, has guest speakers and input from the HCA.

The human resources interest group is a joint group across the North East and Yorkshire and Humberside. The group meet on a quarterly basis, discussing relevant HR issues. In addition they share best practice, have guest speakers and benchmark key performance information.

The aim of the group is to bring together smaller housing associations to share good practice and carry out joint work from across Yorkshire and Humberside and the North East. The group meets on a quarterly basis and feeds into the Federation’s national Smalls Group. Meeting include specialist topical speakers.

This group meets quarterly to discuss issues related to development in Yorkshire and Humber and to share best practice. It is an opportunity for members to network with peers and explore ways of collaborating and learning from each other to deliver new housing in the region. The group hears from topical speakers and from the Homes and Communities Agency.

This group is an opportunity for senior managers across a range of responsibilities within housing associations (generally reporting to the chief executive) to meet quarterly to network with peers, discuss key issues affecting the sector, share best practice and explore opportunities for collaboration. The group hears from topical speakers and members are encouraged to play an active role in agenda setting.
