Building safety national group

We set up the building safety national group to reflect the importance of the ongoing work and challenges that we face as a sector. The safety of residents will always be a priority to the sector.

The group has helped shape the sector’s response to the new system of building regulations proposed by the government, and continues to support housing associations towards a smooth transition into a new regulatory environment. This group provides overall feedback on their experiences of identifying and remediating buildings with safety concerns, so that the NHF’s work reflects the challenges for residents and housing associations.
