Housing has become one of the most important political issues in recent years, with high expectations from the Government, the regulator and the public.
Housing associations are ambitious to keep providing quality homes and building great communities, but they’ll need brilliant board members to guide them towards their goals. If you’re new to the sector and you’d like a firmer grip on the housing world, join the National Housing Federation at one of our Board Member Induction events.
You’ll hear from:
- your local Assistant Director Regulatory Operations from the Regulator of Social Housing, on the operating environment and key regulation issues
- your local External Affairs Manager at the National Housing Federation, on our role as your trade body and what good governance looks like
- local housing association chair on the key skills you’ll need to be a successful board member.
There’ll be ample time for questions and discussion throughout the event, as well as a chance to meet other new board members to start developing your networks.
This event is best suited to newly appointed board members, though all board members are welcome.
