Check out our simple guide to tweeting confidently and effectively to show your support for Homes for Britain.
Dos and don’ts
- Keep it simple – with only 140 characters so focus on the main campaign message ‘End the housing crisis within a generation’.
- Don’t use too many hashtags. Use #homesforbritain and if you want to use another, try not to use more than two. It makes it harder to read and can lose the focus.
- Don’t worry about getting a professional looking picture, as people don’t expect this on social media. But do make sure it’s not blurry and aim to have people’s eye line about a third of the way down the picture.
- If you’re putting the twitter handle at the start of the tweet, make sure you also add a full stop prior to this. This makes sure that everyone can see this tweet.
