How much does it cost?
We have high ambitions for this campaign, but we can’t do it alone. Our aim is to raise enough money to fund a three-year strategy and run a national advertising campaign, which we believe will have a significant impact on the profile of shared ownership.
Housing associations can sign up by paying an annual contribution to the campaign. We’ve calculated subscription costs based on the amount of shared ownership properties you own. Email us to find out about our pricing model and understand what it means for you.
We appreciate that the cost implication means that you’ll need to discuss this with your colleagues before signing up to join the campaign. We’ve put together a short briefing setting out the business case that we hope enables you to do this.
Our member steering group consists of 11 different housing associations that are helping shape this work and have already pledged their support.

When will the campaign be ready?
We showcased the campaign materials at both our Affordable Home Ownership conference in June and at the National Housing Summit in September. We have agreed on a new date of January 2020 for the public launch of our campaign. This includes advertising, PR and political engagement.
What can campaign supporters do now?
In the meantime, we have given all of our supporters access to the campaign branding assets through the now launched Campaign Hub. From early October, supporters can incorporate these branding assets and resources into their own marketing efforts. This will allow organisations to test how they want to use the co-branding assets and also see how they work in real environments in preparation for the public launch in January.
To support any member activity, from early October we are also launching the consumer website to improve understanding of shared ownership by explaining what it is (and isn’t). This website will be the go to place to find out everything you need to know about the product and it will then link to our portal partner Property Booking in which our supporters can now advertise their properties.
Can I join the campaign at any point in year one?
Yes, organisations can join at any point. There will be a series of advertising bursts from January onwards. If you join after the launch the year one subscription cost still applies in full.
