This national group has been set up to collaborate with the National Housing Federation on the key issue of diversity, equality and inclusion in the housing association sector.
The issue of improving diversity, equality and inclusion is key to achieving the Federation’s business strategy ambition of improving trust in our sector. This issue also goes to the heart of who we are as organisations and what we stand for as a sector. The group is being tasked with co-creating a programme of work with the Federation which will help to show leadership when it comes to diversity in our sector, and to drive a shift in culture in delivering inclusive workplaces.

Applications for this new group are now open and we need you to join us to make this work a real success.
We are looking for a real mix of expertise – including people whose organisations have a strong track record of improving diversity, as well as members who are looking to deliver more inclusive workplaces and to learn more about doing this.
It is also important that we have a diversity of lived experiences in our new group, so please consider how your personal perspectives might also add value to this important work.

If you have any questions, please contact Emily Bird, Adviser to the Chief Executive.
The first meeting of the group will take place in London on 16 October 2019, so please pencil this date into your diary.
