Diverse leadership at board level is key to driving change and progress. Join us at this webinar to hear first-hand from board members who have experienced the impact that improving equality, diversity and inclusion in the boardroom can have on an organisation.
We hope to inspire attendees to address diversity and inclusion in their boardrooms and across their organisations. This is a great opportunity to learn from those leading the way in the sector as they share practical advice and lessons they have learned on their journeys so far.
The equality, diversity and inclusion of housing association staff in England insight report, published by the NHF in November 2020, shows us that “diverse leadership teams make better decisions…and better designed services”. Yet we know from the report that many housing association boards are not as diverse as they could be. Furthermore, the new NHF Code of Governance has requirements for boards to demonstrate a clear and active commitment to achieve equality of opportunity, diversity and inclusion in all of the organisation’s activities, as well as in its own composition.
