Coronavirus testing, winter planning and infection control in supported housing settings (webinar)

30 November 2020

With the end of the autumn lockdown imminent and winter on the horizon, we held a webinar on coronavirus testing, winter planning and infection control in supported housing settings. This was a follow on from the previous webinar on easing lockdown in supported housing settings, to update members on new developments regarding testing and infection control advice, and share examples of preparedness planning from supported housing providers.

This webinar includes feedback from Anchor Hanover on their experience of whole scheme testing in Extra Care schemes from Home Group on clinical governance for infection prevention and control, and from Riverside on partnering with Public Health locally to help manage staffing issues with Test and Trace. We also want to make sure that members receive the latest news and advice regarding testing.

The webinar focused on operating whole scheme testing, partnership working, clinical governance and infection prevention, dealing with staffing pressures and Test and Trace. Housing associations share their strategies for protecting residents and staff and there will be plenty of time for questions.
