Summer 2025 is memorable as one with considerable civil disturbances including protests across the country stirring anti-immigration rhetoric, the targeting of hotels housing asylum seekers, the headline grabbing far-right rally, the ‘stop the boats’ protests and an increasing number of flags in our communities.

The attack on a Manchester synagogue further heightened community fears and led to increased police presence in public spaces.
