Get Britain Working – what does it mean for housing providers?

01 May 2025

During this webinar we heard more about Get Britain Working and the new Local Plans coming into place to deliver it with local partners, including social housing providers.

In November 2024 the government released the Get Britain Working White Paper, which sets out a series of plans aimed at reducing economic inactivity. The plans sit alongside the broader devolution agenda and promise greater local control of employment and skills support, as well as health services. These reforms will impact local neighbourhoods and how housing providers engage and deliver employment and skills support to residents and the wider community.

This webinar discusses the white paper, the timescales involved and explores how housing associations can engage with the programme going forward.
