Health, care and support services have long formed a significant part of many housing associations’ businesses. Our members deliver innovative solutions that are tenant-focused and meet the needs of vulnerable people, in their homes, and in their communities.
In our fast-changing operating environment, many organisations are being forced to do more with less. It is especially important that housing associations are equipped to be creative and do things differently.
But innovation must not come at the cost of the vital impact that services have on people’s lives.
Increasingly, partnerships between health providers and housing associations are enabling our members to deliver their high quality services despite the pressures on their businesses.
At the National Housing Federation, we work to:
- amplify the fantastic work that many of our members are already doing in health, care and support
- celebrate great partnerships
- offer new models of what ‘great partnerships’ can look like.
Over the last few years, we have been working closely with the health sector to understand the opportunities for housing associations to engage. We want to share our learning with you, so that you are equipped to develop an existing or new health, care or support offer in changing times.
