From principles to implementation, it’s crucial that housing associations are involved in the development of the Voluntary Right to Buy (VRTB) so that it works for housing associations and for their tenants.
We are currently in the process of developing VRTB, looking at the practical aspects of implementation such as eligibility, portability, and regulation. Working with housing associations throughout this process, the outcomes will then feed into a framework document which outlines how the policy will work in practice.
