Become a member

Fees and how to join

Our members are housing associations (not-for-profit organisations that operate housing or related services for the benefit of the community) and stock transfer organisations. 

If you wish to join the National Housing Federation, please contact us to discuss your application and for more information on the services we provide. Member fees are based on the number of properties owned or managed.

Associates

Arm’s Length Management Organisations (ALMOS) and local authorities considering stock transfer may apply to be associates of the Federation. Our associates receive information and advice, plus many of the benefits of being a full member – contact us for full details.

Commercial organisations

Only housing organisations can be members of the Federation. Other organisations may join our Preferred or Sector Supplier schemes, which offers the chance to build relationships with our members.
