Together with Tenants rollout coming soon

Together with Tenants is a sector-wide initiative focused on strengthening the relationship between residents and housing association landlords.

We have been working with residents, our independent Tenant Advisory Panel, our Member Steering Group and our members to understand what practical change is needed. Through this we have developed a four-point plan, including a new Charter that sets out in clear terms what residents can and should expect from their landlord. Over the last few months, 130 early adopter organisations have been testing out the Charter, adapting it to their own local contexts, and sharing what they’ve learnt in order to support even more housing associations to adopt it.

Now, we’re getting ready to roll this out across the entire sector later this month - our ambition is for all housing associations to support our Together with Tenants plan and adopt the Charter.

We are preparing a wide range of resources to support housing associations with this. We will share lessons learned from the early adopters, and publish guidance to support implementing any changes. We are also hosting two webinars:

• An update for residents - you can share this with your residents.
