The population of England is set to grow to around 9 million by 2039. It will also change significantly in that time, with the number of people of pension age rising by 5.7 million. This report looks at:
- the impact of the ageing population on housing and care services
- regional differences in population growth
- how rural and urban areas are affected differently
- how the demographic shift will affects housing wealth
