Our response to the consultation on community safety partnerships review and antisocial behaviour powers

24 May 2023

The Home Office has been consulting on the relationship between community safety partnerships and police and crime commissioners, and the expansion of antisocial behaviour powers.

Views were sought on the relationship between community safety partnerships (CSPs) and the police and crime commissioner (PCCs), collaborative working to tackle antisocial behaviour and on the expansion of antisocial behaviour powers.

In our response to the consultation, we support measures aimed at enhancing information sharing and fostering collaborative approaches to improve outcomes for victims and effectively address anti-social behaviour.

We outline our members’ dedication to tackling anti-social behaviour in partnership with local authorities, the police and other relevant organisations. However, we also draw attention to existing barriers and provide suggestions for addressing these challenges.
