Briefing on the review of the ban on the use of combustible materials

26 February 2020

The government is consulting on proposals to change the requirements of building regulations which would, in effect, ban the use of combustible materials:

  • In and on the external walls of certain new buildings.
  • In specified external wall attachments.

This briefing summarises the proposals and sets out some key questions we would like to hear members' views on.
