We are committed to equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) and for us it’s much more than words. This is reinforced through our EDI strategy and policy which goes to the heart of who we are as an organisation and what we stand for as a sector.
We have a very active EDI staff group alongside six EDI and Wellbeing Champions, representing each of our directorates. We have come a long way by creating a truly inclusive organisation but we recognise there is still more for us to do.
Strong social values drive housing associations, but there is more that we can and should be doing to ensure our leadership is diverse, and that our workplaces embrace equality.
We work with our members, through national groups and networks, to drive a shift in culture in delivering inclusive workplaces.
